Tokeniser is a Redbelly Network project: born from research at the University of Sydney and Australian Government Science Agency: CSIRO, and built on infrastructure trusted by leading financial institutions.
Origin
The consensus protocol behind Redbelly began as computer science research at the University of Sydney, aimed at settling transactions at scale with the finality guarantees regulated finance depends on. That research moved from published papers to a patented consensus mechanism.
Australia’s national science agency worked alongside that research to take it from published papers to a network that institutions can run in production, under Australian governance.
Redbelly Network is the public digital token infrastructure selected to participate in Australia’s central bank digital currency project: the only public network with permissioned assets and identity verified at the protocol level.
